Read all about our dedicated staff who form the backbone of Camp Alphie.
My name is Lynn French, and I have been a counselor at Camp Alphie since 2009! I first came to camp with the “purple people” around 2006 when I was in high school, and absolutely fell in love with this wonderful place of Camp Alphie! The counselors were all so caring and fun, and the staff went all-out to create this atmosphere of creativity and love—this is what I hope to continue as Camp Director! This week is all about learning new skills and trying new things in a safe but fun way, and it’s going to be a great year. We have some awesome activities planned, and I hope to see old faces and new ones at camp this year!
For those of you who don’t know me, I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where I have a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism, and a minor in business administration. I am from Gruver, TX and I recently got married. My husband Daniel and I live in Gruver, and have 3 large dogs, love to go hiking, camping, dancing, and pretty much anything outdoors. I am always up for new adventures, and I hope to help the kids have a great time at Camp!
My name is Jessica Baine and I am from Southern Illinois. I have nursing experience in pediatric oncology/hematology, NICU, PICU, Cardiac ICU as well as the emergency room. I have been fortunate enough to work at Dallas Children's, Vanderbilt Children's and St. Louis Children's. Working with the pediatric population makes you realize the one common goal pediatric nurses have and that is allowing children to be kids while overcoming illnesses. I am currently seeking higher education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner while educating nursing students. I am recently married and the proud mom of a goldenretriever and a boxer. In my spare time I love traveling, eating yummy food and going to the lake with my family. I look forward to meeting all of you at camp this summer!
