Mona Hernandez

Mona Hernandez has been an integral part of the Camp Alphie community for several years. She served as a counselor in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023, and took on the role of camp director in 2024. Mona’s connection to the camp runs deep, having been a camper herself for two years with her sister Carla. Carla passed away from leukemia in 2014. Remembering the good memories created at Camp Alphie with her sister inspires her to give back to the camp she loved.

Outside of camp, Mona is a dedicated realtor in Amarillo, TX and previously worked as a Patient Care Technician (PCT). Mona’s diverse experiences and passion for the children make her a valuable asset to our team.
